Hours, the trial, refunds and extension updates.
What are AI dubbing hours and when are they used?
Hours are the time you use the server voice or Listen mode on videos without captions. Hours are used by the second actually used; pausing the video pauses the clock. Videos with captions are free within reasonable use.
Where can I see my remaining hours?
In the Lidub extension window (the “… left” line) and on the Account page. Both show the same figure.
What does the trial include?
New accounts that sign in with Google get all paid features for 7 days, plus 2 hours of AI dubbing, no card needed.
Do purchased hours expire?
Hours are bought once, with no monthly charge. Expiry terms are stated on the Pricing page when sales open.
How do I ask for a refund?
The refund policy is being finalised and will be published before sales open. If you were charged hours because of a fault, send Feedback / Report a bug with the video link; the team reviews each case.
Does the extension update itself?
When installed from the Chrome Web Store the extension updates itself. For manual installs today, follow the update guide or see “Install once, update automatically” on the Download page.
The extension says it is not connected?
Open Connect the extension, sign in with Google, then press “Connect Lidub account” in the extension window.
The translation or voice is wrong?
Send Feedback / Report a bug and choose “Translation is wrong” or “Voice”. Lidub does not send your video, only the subtitle text (see Privacy).
